GILLES PETERSON & MC EARL ZINGER
12pm – 10.30pm | Saturday 12th March 2016 | Tobacco Dock, E1
With just under one month to go until Bonobo Presents: OUTLIER, the final lineup has been revealed, with new editions including three of electronic music’s most forward-thinking talents in form of Rone, Henry Wu and Guy Andrews, as well as MC Earl Zinger performing alongside Gilles Peterson for the all-day event at Tobacco Dock on Saturday 12th March 2016.
Making a rare appearance in London, acclaimed French producer Rone creates immense soundscapes, influenced by a range of sounds and genres from melodic ambient techno, to hypnotic electronica and even hip-hop, performing every set live.
Hailing from Peckham’s 22a Records collective, experimental producer Henry Wu brings his live band Yusseff Kamaal Trio to OUTLIER with a sound that is both raw and free-spirited.
A very special performance is to come from rising producer Guy Andrews as he presents the live launch for his new album ‘Our Love Will‘ – set to drop on fabric’s Houndstooth label on March 4th.
Curated personally by Bonobo, the lineup for OUTLIER at Tobacco Dock represents a festival-scale music offering with the likes of Gilles Peterson, Maya Jane Coles, Special Request, George Fitzgerald, Romare and Alex Smoke already announced to play across three rooms at the striking East London venue.
FULL LINE UP / STAGE SPLIT
Outlier is a new international event series curated by Simon Green aka Bonobo, launching Saturday 12th March 2016 at London’s Tobacco Dock. Live acts and DJs carefully handpicked by Bonobo will play at the all-day party across multiple rooms, as well as an extended DJ set from Bonobo himself.
A man at the top of his game, Bonobo has released four studio albums since joining Ninja Tune, with his last ‘The North Borders’ receiving critical acclaim across the board and charting inside the UK Top 30. The following tour saw a string of sold-out shows, wowing a combined audience in excess of 2 million fans and culminating in a colossal road-block showcase at London’s iconic Alexandra Palace.
With another album in the workings, Outlier is an opportunity for Bonobo to harness his talents as a curator and arbiter of club culture, demonstrating his instinctive relationship with music and show he is equally adept as a DJ.
