Describe your sound..

Tech > Big Room House

What does music mean to you?

I think music is a way of life not just for me but almost entirely everyone…. could you imagine a place without music!!!

Since 2011 you’ve been frequenting the DJ booth in Lush with spots supporting some of the world’s top DJ talent. What has it been like to play at one of Northern Irelands most revered venues?

It’s been a very fulfilling experience, frequenting the venue in my early clubbing days was a real treat and to get the opportunity to play there every few months has been the best part of a dream come true.

Can you tell us what else you’ve been working on recently?

Just finished 2 tracks with young blood Jay Hamilton, ‘Cant Stop’ due for release on Simon Halliwells label ‘BITCH’ in July and ‘Zer0 Gravity’ due out on the ever thriving ‘RiseUp’ label in October 2012.
Just currently working on some chunk filled tech house with Ryan Matthews, expect to hear our sounds soon.

You have another big night coming up on 28th July when you’re supporting AN21 & Max Vangeli at the Size Matters party coming up at Lush.. What would be the ultimate gig for you to play at?

I wouldn’t be truthful if I said Ii haven’t already played an ultimate gig playing a 3 hour set before Paul Oakenfold for the 16th Birthday @ Lush! Or the Above&Beyond gig but im a House man at heart, so playing alongside any of the Toolroom or Size clan at either Lush or a Festival would be up there as the ultimate gig.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I’d love to do a few collaborations with some inspiring producers in the house scene, be more established within Uk/Europe and of course still be a part of Lush!

Of course you’re also playing Jam in the Park on 11th August, what do you think is going to set this event apart from previous festivals in the province?

I’m a huge fan of promoting up&coming talent so i think this event ticks all the boxes, some people will be playing this event during the early stages of their career and to be featured within the line up alongside the main acts booked for JAM, that’s a good mark for the CV.

The event is something fresh from the recent closure of Planet Love that may help relight the festival feel that Northern Ireland deserves. Between ourselves and the rest of Europe we offer very little in comparison so I guess this is a ‘Watch This Space’ moment.

Tell us a little about what you have in store for us on the day –

These events bring a lot of people together with a party atmosphere, id be rude not to drop a classic or 2 along with some of my new material.

Which track ..

Makes you emotional…

Ciaran Osborne – Never Get Enough (Original Mix)

Reminds you of good times…

Hard to choose between ‘Ferry Corsten – Punk’ &’ System F – Cry’ both ‘hands in the air’ tracks.

Is destroying dance floors for you right now…

Jason Chance – Friday Night Fever (Manuel De La Mare Remix)

Is an unbeatable classic…

Got to be Superchumbo – The Revolution

If I gave you an elephant where would you hide it?

Im already hiding one!! (pulls out his trouser pockets)

Tell us the best lie you have ever heard…

My cousin recently convinced her partner she had won the euros, he was caught on the phone to Rangerover the next day booking a test drive… Ouch!!!
